If it has outlasted a year of insoles
Insoles pad the floor.
They never touch the tissue.
It is not inflamed. It has not been for a long time. That one fact is why something softer underfoot changed how the floor felt and never changed what was wrong with your foot.
What you want back is not a better insole. It is the first step.

- What it is
- One ingredient. Moringa oleifera leaf, 800 mg. Nothing else in the capsule.
- What it does
- Feeds the fibroblast — the one cell that lays down and cross-links the collagen this band is made of.
- How long
- Ninety days — one full remodeling cycle. Week six is the first honest read.
- What it costs
- About a dollar a day, with a ninety-day guarantee on the whole thing.
The first ten steps are the tell.
Out of bed, foot down, and the heel goes. Not a soreness — a spike, right in the middle of the underside, nearer the back than the arch.
Then you walk it off. By the time you are at the kettle it has mostly let go, and for an hour you half believe it is over.
It comes back by the end of the day. And it comes back worse any morning after a day you were on your feet.
So you built a routine around it. The shoes stay by the bed because stepping down barefoot is not an option any more. You hold the banister going down. You have opinions about which supermarket has the softer floor.
And you stopped doing the thing you used to do in the evenings, whatever it was, because standing for an hour costs you the next morning.
Another year of this and that list is longer, not shorter.
And the pattern itself is the clue. Eight hours off your feet is the one stretch of the day the tissue is under no load at all — and that is when it is at its worst. Whatever is wrong down there is not being caused by what you did yesterday. It is the condition of the tissue before you do anything.
Everyone calls it plantar fasciitis.
The itis on the end means inflammation. So that is what you treated. Ibuprofen. Ice under the arch. The frozen bottle. The shot, maybe. Months of it, and the first step is still the first step.
The tissue tells a different story, and it has been telling it since 2003.

In 2003 a team at a podiatric pathology lab took fifty specimens from people who had gone all the way to surgery for chronic heel pain, and looked at the tissue itself.
Their words: there was no evidence of inflammation histologically. Their recommendation was that the name be changed, because the itis on the end describes something that is not happening in there.
Which is the whole reason the anti-inflammatory shelf went nowhere. It was not a weak version of the right idea. It was the wrong idea.
Not inflamed.
Worn through.
The literature calls it fasciosis, or plantar fasciopathy. Not an inflamed band — a degenerated one. Fibers fragmented, and in the worst of it the dense collagen replaced by something soft and gel-like that has no business being there.
And you cannot ice a band back into line.
Which is why the insoles kept almost working.
Prefabricated or custom, the reviews land in the same place. Measurable relief for about the first twelve weeks. After that, the benefit is not consistently sustained out to a year. And the off-the-shelf pair performed about as well as the moulded ones somebody charged you three hundred dollars for.
That is not a failure of the insole. It is an insole doing exactly what an insole does. It changes what the floor feels like. It was never in contact with the problem.
Every honest thing in that drawer is a load management tool. It takes pressure off the band while you are standing on it. None of it is in contact with the state of the tissue, which is why the relief has a shelf life and the morning step always comes back.
Damage stacks. Remodeling does not — not on its own.
Grade the whole drawer with one question.
Does it feed the tissue, or does it manage the problem?
None of them are wrong, exactly. They are aimed at a fire, or at the floor. And they hand the cells that build this band nothing to build with.
One note on the shot, from the same paper.
The team that found no inflammation in any of those fifty specimens also asked for serial cortisone injections to be reviewed. They are given to control an inflammation that is not there, and the authors were uneasy about what repeated injections do to tissue that has already degenerated.
That is their conclusion, not ours, and it is a conversation for your doctor rather than a reason to cancel anything.
But it is the clearest sign there is that quieting inflammation and rebuilding tissue are two different jobs.
The leaf three continents have eaten for generations.
Moringa oleifera. A daily staple across Africa, South Asia and Central America — food, not medicine. Nobody ever put it in front of you as a foot thing.
It feeds the fibroblast. That is the cell that lays down and cross-links collagen. Strictly speaking the plantar fascia is not a tendon — it is a thick sheet of connective tissue — but it is built from the same type of collagen, by the same cell, and that cell has been sitting under your heel this whole time with nothing to build with.

That is the entire gap. Not a better pad, not a stronger anti-inflammatory. The one cell that builds this tissue has been working under your heel for years on whatever it could find.
One capsule a morning. The fibroblasts go back to work.
New collagen goes down. The fragmented fibers pull back into line. Lock in. Pack denser, week by week.
That is tissue density. Not padded. Not numbed. Built.
Where the evidence actually sits. Moringa leaf's effect on the fibroblast has been studied in wound-healing and skin models. Nobody has run the trial in this tissue yet. It is the same cell doing the same job, and that is the reasoning the whole product is built on — but it is reasoning, not a study in your foot, and you deserve to hear that from us rather than find it out later.
Real People. Real Results.
Thousands of steps put stress on your connective tissue every day. Here’s what Tap-Less customers are saying about staying active.
“ “The first steps every morning used to be brutal. Now I get out of bed without immediately thinking about my heel.” — Michael, 54”
“ I’d rest my foot, feel better, start walking normally again, and it would come right back. Tap-Less has become part of my daily routine and I finally feel like I’m making progress.”

Grant Wexley · From the founder
An engineer asked his doctor one question.
Mine was the elbow, not the heel. Forty years old, sitting in an exam room, and the doctor said tendinitis and handed me a brace. I asked what the itis part meant. He said inflammation. I asked whether he had actually seen any.
I am an engineer, so that answer sent me into the literature instead of the pharmacy. What I found was twenty years of studies saying the same thing about connective tissue all over the body, and the heel paper is the bluntest of the lot — fifty specimens, no inflammation in any of them, and a recommendation that the name be changed. It has been sitting in a journal since 2003 and almost nobody got told.
Nineteen months later I had a single-ingredient capsule aimed at the cell that builds the tissue. One ingredient, because I wanted to know whether it worked.

Fast is the tell.
Nothing dramatic happens here in week one. Anything you can feel in seven days is a mask lifting, not fibers pulling into line — and there is no ingredient, no cream and no shot that rebuilds collagen faster than collagen rebuilds.
So when a label promises you results in two weeks, it is not promising you structure. There is already a drawer full of that.

My 90-Day
First Steps Guarantee
Take Tap-Less for the full cycle. Every morning, one capsule, no other changes.
If the first step out of bed is the same at the end of it, email me. Keep the bottles — including the empty ones. Every cent back, no form, no hoops.
Straight answers.
One plant. One mechanism.
Here is what managing it has cost so far. The custom orthotics were three hundred and the evidence says the ten-dollar pair did about the same. The night splint was sixty. The shoes you bought specifically for this were more than either. Tap-Less is about a dollar a day for the one thing on that list aimed at the tissue itself — and the ninety days are guaranteed.
